Fixing setup and connection problems, and starting fresh with a factory reset.
Take the appropriate safety precautions. Use the right tools and PPE, depressurize pressurized parts, and follow electrical best practice before handling the equipment. See Isolating Equipment and Repressurizer Safety.
| Symptom | What to do |
|---|---|
| Setup keeps failing | Update both the Inteliverse app and the controller firmware to the latest versions. |
| Pairing is unreliable, or the light is already alternating blue and green before you start | Another phone is connected to the controller. Only one phone should be connected at a time. On any other phones that have connected before, forget the controller’s WiFi network or turn WiFi off. The light blinks only green once they are gone. |
| Changes made from the phone don’t take effect | Make sure the controller has steady power and is not under heavy load. Large swings in process conditions can interrupt setup. |
| The connection drops | Stay close to the controller — distance and electrical noise make the direct connection unstable. |
| The phone keeps leaving the controller’s network | The direct connection has no internet, so phones often switch to a network that does. Watch which network your phone is on, and tell it to stay connected without internet if it asks. |
| Light alternating green and red | The cloud connection failed. Check the site’s WiFi and internet. |
| Can’t add WiFi from an iPhone | Use the iPhone workaround. |
If nothing else works, start fresh:
A factory reset clears the controller’s configuration, including its WiFi settings and set points.
