The controller changed a saved setting by itself — usually to keep a control mode safe after something it depended on went away. Review the change, then acknowledge the alarm.

New in an upcoming firmware update. Earlier firmware made some of these changes silently.
Some changes the controller has to make on its own: when a device is removed, its references in control modes cannot stay pointing at nothing. This alarm tells you it happened, so a change to safety-relevant settings is never silent. One alarm is raised per settings file while it is active.
It is raised when:
| What happened | What the controller changed |
|---|---|
| A device was removed that control modes used | Modes that used it as input or output are kept enabled but blocked; interlock rules on it are kept, marked Device removed, and block their mode. See Interlocks — When an interlock’s device is removed. |
| A device was removed that a calendar program used | The program’s slot is cleared and the program blocked; a lockout that held only that device is removed |
| A control mode was deleted that calendar programs named | Lockouts left holding nothing are removed; a program that ran the deleted mode needs a new target |
| A safety latch belonged to a mode that no longer exists | The orphaned latch was removed at start-up |
| A wireless device answered where a different one was saved | Its saved entry was reset |
| A saved WiFi network had its security reset when joining, or the oldest was dropped to make room | The saved network list |
| Cloud credentials were wiped to re-provision | The cloud identity — see Network and Cloud |
The change is already made and saved. Nothing else is stopped by this alarm — but a mode it blocked shows BLOCKED and the reason in the control-mode list.
The change is also recorded in the controller’s audit log, which the app can read.
