What a new or factory-reset InteliHive starts with — control modes, the boiler profile, devices, and settings — so you can tell a deliberate setting from an untouched default.
These values are generated from current development firmware (build v0.1.0-104, newer than release v0.1.0; the PTSA, Modbus bus, and Modbus device rows are from build v0.1.0-158). A value the controller shows that differs from this page was changed on that unit.
The values a new mode starts with when you add it under Control Modes → + Add New. Where the controller’s screen and the controller’s API (used by apps) start from different values, both are shown.

On profiles other than Boiler the controller starts from the same 30 s, 8 s, 3 s, 10 s and 5 s it offers to apps, then raises anything below the shortest value its screen offers. A mode created through the API with the shorter values keeps them until it is edited on the controller.

Setup on the Boiler profile creates one Setpoint Control mode, Blowdown Loop, from these values. On a Boiler unit the sampling values also fill in any sampling setting a mode is missing when you edit it.

Notes |
| Hard low |
100 µS/cm |
Fixed — does not follow the setpoint. Catches a fouled or stuck-low probe. |
| Hard high |
1.5 × setpoint |
Computed — 3750 µS/cm at the default setpoint. Recalculated when the setpoint changes, unless it was set by hand. Must stay above the setpoint. |
| Stale after |
4 min; 2 × Interval (20 min at the default) for Sample & Hold |
Computed for Sample & Hold. Outside Sample & Hold the Boiler profile allows at most 5 min. |
| Maximum rate of change |
100 µS/cm per second |
Catches a spiking reading |
| On trip |
Output forced off |
The trip latches: it does not clear by itself, stays latched through a restart, and must be cleared by an operator |
| Alarm hold |
5 s |
A safety alarm stays raised at least this long, so a bouncing reading cannot make it chatter |

¶ Profile, limits, and calibration
| Setting |
Default |
| Profile |
None — setup asks for one, unless the unit was profile-locked at the factory |
| Limits on sensor channels |
None set. A PTSA channel opens its limits editor at low-low 50, low 75, high 125, high-high 150 ppb, each off. |
| Calibration |
None — every channel reads as the device reports it |
A factory reset erases every setting on this page back to the defaults above, including the profile lock. See Factory Reset for what it does to paired wireless devices and how the controller restarts.
