Plumbing the Repressurizer into a closed loop and powering it up. The system is pre-wired at the factory, so installation is mostly piping.
Do not apply power until the system is plumbed in and the piping has had its full cure time and been pressure tested. See Safety.
See Pressurized Systems and Material Compatibility before plumbing.
Connect the RPS discharge connection (¾" FNPT) to the closed-loop heat exchange system, in accordance with all local, state, and national requirements. This connection is the feed line.
No automatic backflow prevention on the feed line. Do not fit a check valve or any other automatic backflow device between the RPS outlet and the pressurized part of the system. It would stop the RPS sensing the real system pressure and prevent it working properly.
Fit a manual isolation valve and a union on the feed line, so the RPS can be serviced without interrupting the heat transfer system.
See Electrical Safety before connecting power.
The RPS comes pre-wired for the pressure transducer, the LOW and LOW LOW level switches, the feed pump, and its 115 V power cord.
Do not modify the factory wiring. It voids the warranty and is prohibited without the manufacturer’s consent.
Then power on and continue to Setup.
